Welcome to our "Discipleship Program 101"   
SEMESTER ONE

This complete program covers four semesters and is worth 12 College Units toward your Bachelor's Degree Through Salt Lake Baptist College.

Please note that you will be asked to fill out an evaluation application in order to credit you with the accumulated credits that you may have already earned in Christian ministry. It takes 120 credits to graduate and from your time in the ministry you may already have 20 to 100 credits earned. This information will be evaluated by the College board of Directors. Once you have been evaluated then your point credits will be given to you. The 4 semester courses listed as the Discipleship Program 101 ( when completed ) will give you an additional 12 credits towards your college degree. The course is more important than just taking it for the credits. These courses will prepare you and your church to have a SOLID foundation in your outreach and discipleship ministries of the local New Testament Church. Every church minister and or layperson should attend these courses. It will help your church to have the strong foundation that will carry your people through the years to come.

Each class will be approximately 90 minutes.
Each class will meet one day a week for 11 weeks plus the last week reserved for finals.
Each semester will have a total of 12 weeks.
Each completed semester will be accredited to 3 semester hours of credit

Milk of the Word stresses "HOW TO DO" instead of how to know the Word. The convert's role model, acting as an extension of his pastor, meets with the new convert 30--40 minutes once each week.  He re-enforces the book and helps the new convert learn HOW TO:

     (1)  Rightly divide or study the Bible
     (2)  Establish a prayer time and pray properly
     (3)  Give of his tithes and offerings systematically
     (4)  Share his testimony in soul winning
     (5)  Honor and be loyal to his pastor

  2. ( fill out an evaluation application to help determine any existing credits that you may already have obtained }

  3. Write a paragraph to why you want to take these classes and turn this in next week

  2. Written testimony of your experience with salvation, baptism and joining the local new testament church - the impact of belonging to a local assembly of believers had on you then and now.

You & the New Testament Faith

    What is faith to you and how can it be a part of your personal daily lives.

God's Inspired Word

    Define what the phrase "God's Inspired Word" means to you and the roll that it has in the New Testament Christians every day life.

    Explain why the Law and the Prophets still hold an important place in our churches today and Explain why II Timothy 2:15 is so important to you the disciple of Christ today.
